Dolphin Tour

A morning trip to Kizimkazi, which is about 45 minutes south of Xanadu, where wild dolphins can be seen just off the shore. With a bit of luck, swimming with the dolphins is possible.

Surfing

Surf the Indian Ocean on one of the many surf sites on the South East Coast of tropical Zanzibar. The waves are perfect for beginners and more advanced surfers. Surfing trips are organized through Aquaholics Zanzibar.

Spearfishing

Spearfishing is organized by Extreme Blue Water Spearfishing Zanzibar. Zanzibar offers some world-class extreme blue Water spearfishing/fishing for trophy fish including Wahoo, Black Marlin, Giant Trevaly, Greater Barracuda, Dorado, Green Jobfish, DogtoothTuna, Snapper and Yellowfin Tuna.

Kayaking

Kayak and experience the Indian Ocean from the surface, off Xanadu’s beach at high tide.

Sup Boarding

Sup board right off the beach at Xanadu or go for a sup through the mangroves as the sunset goes down at Michamvie Kae.
The calm waters of Chwaka Bay’s mangroves offer the perfect location for stand up paddle boarding. Our personal guide will take you on a scenic tour of Zanzibar’s beautiful mangroves.

Kite Surfing

Zanzibar’s East Coast is known to be one of the world’s best kite surfing spots. Paje and Jambiani (just South of Xanadu) have become ideal spots for kite surfing, offering excellent opportunities for kiters at all levels.

Scuba Diving

Zanzibar’s South East Coast is bordered by a reef which has great diving spots for those watersport enthusiasts looking to experience Zanzibar from below. We are partnered with Buccaneers Diving, where scuba diving can be enjoyed directly in front of Xanadu, up north around the beautiful Mnemba Island or the southern region of the island in Kizimkazi.
